Orlando Rivera is the first Afro-Latino to run the NYS Assembly in the 136th district. He is the son of a single mother who worked hard to provide for him and his siblings. A proud graduate of Bishop Kearney High School in Irondequoit, and the State University of NY at Potsdam.

Orlando is an experienced non-profit professional who’s focused on the value of service to consumers and assisting others for the overall betterment of our community.

Mr. Rivera and his family reside in the historic Maplewood neighborhood (Rochester, NY)
