His journey from a decorated U.S. Marines combat veteran and retired Deputy Sheriff in Monroe County to Pastoring Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Rochester, NY, is a testament to his resilience and leadership.

By his side is his incredible wife, Mindy, a local treasure in Rochester, who devoted herself to healthcare at Rochester General Hospital before taking on the equally important role of nurturing their children, Hector Jr. and Marissa. Her dedication extended to homeschooling, ensuring that their family's values were instilled at every stage.

Together, Pastor Hector & Mindy Sotomayor have formed an inseparable bond, driven by a shared passion for faith, family, and community. An inspiring power duo, a couple that truly embodies the spirit of compassion and service.
