Friends, welcome to another exciting episode of the Next Steps Show. Today, our guest is Carmen Lonardo, a visionary, a pillar in his community, and co-founder of Penfield United for Education Excellence, a grassroots organization tirelessly working towards refocusing our public schools on classical learning. Carmen is not only a champion for education but also a thriving real estate practitioner and an active contributor to local government.

Carmen Lonardo, a co-founder of Penfield United for Education Excellence, embodies the spirit of community advocacy. As a parent of a Penfield Central School District student and a Penfield resident since 1970, Carmen has a vested interest in education in his area. He is also an alumnus of Penfield Schools.

In addition to managing a thriving real estate practice, Carmen has amassed extensive experience in local government and community affairs. He has held various professional roles in non-profit service organizations and local government. His active involvement with the community extends to leading community-based organizations, contributing to land use planning, zoning, and public service study committees. Carmen is an alumnus of Saint John Fisher College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the State University of New York.

Penfield United for Education Excellence is an expanding grassroots organization, made up of diverse parents, community members, and educators. This collective formed out of a shared concern that public schools' emphasis has shifted from classical learning to align more with current societal trends.
