Engineer
Mr. Wurzer is one of the owners and managing partners of the firm and has been with the firm since 1999. Since that time he has conducted over 14,000 inspections of residential and commercial properties. He has total engineering experience of over 35 years. Prior to joining the firm, Tom’s background as a Mechanical Engineer included extensive construction and design experience as an engineering manager and as an HVAC and Plumbing design engineer. Tom has performed hundreds of detailed energy audits. He is a native of Rochester, a Webster resident and a graduate of Fairport High School. Tom is a NYS Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), and NYS Licensed Mold Assessor and a NYS Licensed Home Inspector.
Tom is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a graduate of the University of Rochester with an MBA concentrating in entrepreneurship. In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing trumpet with ensembles in the Webster, Fairport and Victor-Farmington areas as well as spending time with his wife and three children.
