Gregg is a lifelong resident of Monroe County, except for the years he proudly served as an Officer in the United States Navy. Upon his return to the area, he became involved in various small businesses in different industries where he earned equity positions based on his performance and the trust he established with stakeholders. His most recent ventures include owning and operating two local businesses that employ over 100 people combined. Gregg has been an active member of the Greece Rotary Club for over 20 years serving as its President during the 2022-23 Rotary year. He is a graduate of St. John Fisher University, and he received his MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. Gregg currently resides in Penfield to be closer to his two sons as they start their families.
Gregg’s experience in small business, the heart of the American economy, his military service, and the fact that he has not been part of the political industry, allows him to bring an unencumbered perspective to a system where party patronage has often prevented our elected representatives from doing what is right for America and the districts they represent. His style has been one of understanding each stakeholders perspective and driving toward cooperative solutions. He often says, “I have more in common with my ‘Blue Neighbors’, than I do with the extremes in my party. And my ‘Blue Neighbors’ have more in common with me, than they do with the extremes in their party”. Understanding that, Gregg believes it is more productive to build on our similarities than divide by our differences.
