Biography

Born into a family of deep military history, voracious readers, and benevolent activism. I struck out on my own after high school. Two weeks after graduation I hitchhiked across the country to Southern Cal. and shortly afterwards north to Alaska. After spending years mining gold, ice road trucking, oil exploration, as well as oilfield development and maintenance. I selected a site in Fairbanks, built and furnished the 1st of 2 pizza restaurants/video stores I owned and operated for nearly ten years.
After very successfully selling my businesses, I came back to Western NY in order to share my children with my extended family, and my parents in particular, as they were nearing their 70's. I bought rentals in rather dilapidated areas of Genesee county in order to "share the wealth." Working on improving them while working towards and receiving a Technology Education degree from Buff State. After a few long term substitute positions I decided that without tenure a teacher is in too tenuous a position to try to veer from the propaganda of the day and that with tenure I would be dealing with untoward administrators, as good administrators were always beckoned elsewhere with higher $$$.
I have become an outspoken critic of the endless wars and divisive tactics used by those who wish to rule for their own greedy whims, no matter the cost.
Long before the internet, I asked friends, relatives, and neighbors to bring back newspapers from wherever they traveled, in order to be well informed. This thirst for knowledge coupled with a touch of ADHD, has made me a very meticulous researcher and adept at cross referencing. Skills that are very necessary in discerning truth. Truth, Justice, and The American Way, are things I believe in, as well as The Ten Commandments, and the Golden Rule. I think that adherence to these ideals can make each of us super humans.
